The student union services include various services in academic, social, cultural and logistic fields, all available for association members:

Academy Department

-          Counseling and guidance on academic problems – The department coordinators will guide you through academic problems.

-          Library – The academy department makes sure that the union's library matches students' specific needs and demands.

-          Exams & Summaries 'Bank' – A collection of summaries, exam booklets and exam solutions from all faculties.

-          Legal assistance – The academy department supplies escort for students who are facing disciplinary judgment in the different legal institutions.

-          External courses – The academy department is ready to assist in all related to external courses such as Psychometry, G-Mat and Ami"r.

Culture Department

The department is in charge of cultural events on campus for the student crowd. Student union members enjoy more attractive prices and unique services, including:

-          Various extra-curricular activities: sports, foreign languages, musical instruments and more.

-          Events: a year-opening production, spring semester opening event, a tribute evening in honor of the students who take part in reserve duty, the weekly 'Tuesday at six' events, public sing-alongs, stand-up comedy performances on campus, the Purim carnival, sports week and more.

-          Students' Day: The highlight of the year, the biggest production in the south. The culture department is in charge of the project on behalf of the association.

-          Projecting sports events in the 'Student House' building on a giant screen.

-          Trips sponsored by the association.

-          Creativity encouragement: production of student films to be presented on the association website, student film contests.

-          Unique theatre productions.

-          Sports tournaments among students.

Involvement Department

-          Assistance in planning social projects – The department professionals help students who wish to carry out social initiatives.

-          Economic assistance to social organizations and projects.

-          Publicity platforms for social involvement events - organizations and students may advertise events on the union's website and bulletin boards to raise awareness among the student crowd.

-          Equipment lending, logistic & bureaucratic assistance for events – organizations and students may use the union's equipment if coordinated in advance.

-          Immediate response in cases of environmental or social injustice and sexual harassment – coordinators who specialize in these fields respond instantly when needed.

-          Organization of transport to social involvement events.

-          Organization of delegations on behalf of the student union, for example to Poland.

 

Additional Services

-          Student Services office –

The office provides bureaucratic services such as: assistance in receiving reimbursements after reserve duty, monthly rent contracts, registration to extra-curricular activities, fax services, magnetic card issuing, and more. * 

-          Legal consultation –

The student union's lawyer provides primary legal consultation free of charge, including signing property tax documents needed to obtain a discount from the municipality.*

-          Production of a yearly student  journal *

-          'Negative' –

A high-quality cinema which combines popular movies and niche movies, and maintains reasonable prices for students.*

-          'Choopchik' –

The student union produces a bi-weekly magazine dedicated to matters on the student agenda.

-          The student  association website –

A portal combining articles on various subjects that interest students, publicity of events on campus and in the area, a variety of bulletin boards – jobs, apartments, and more – and class forums that enable access to summaries and study material uploaded by students.

 

* These services will be granted free of charge / with significant discounts to students who did not cancel their welfare fee.

 

Welfare Services Given by the University

A room for viewing  filmed courses, psychological services, private lessons and various tutoring programs, a discount in the university parking lots, a university raffle to receive a city parking label, translator pages, and entrance to the sports center's pool.
